• 插艾草：從農曆五月開始，天氣漸漸炎熱，容易滋生蚊蟲蒼蠅，產生傳染病，所以在五月五日這天清掃屋舍，插艾草。

• 包粽子：為了防止魚蝦蟹或是蛟龍啃咬屈原的身體，才有了包粽子這個傳統習俗。

• 划龍舟：在擊鼓的聲音中進行的傳統競賽，不僅紀念屈原，還寄託著人們對豐收的祈願

• 跳鍾馗：鍾馗是民間傳說中驅逐鬼邪之神，「跳鍾馗」是祈求消災避邪的表演。

Additionally, many mythological stories have also been passed down due to this traditional festival.

• Hanging Mugwort: Starting from the fifth lunar month, the weather gradually becomes warmer, which can lead to the breeding of mosquitoes and flies and the spread of infectious diseases. Therefore, on the fifth day of the fifth month, people clean their homes and hang mugwort.

• Making Zongzi: The tradition of making rice dumplings was established to prevent fish, shrimp, crabs, or mythical creatures from gnawing at Qu Yuan's body.

• Dragon Boat Racing: This traditional competition, conducted amidst the sound of drums, not only commemorates Qu Yuan but also expresses people's hopes for a bountiful harvest.

• Jumping Zhong Kui: Zhong Kui is a deity in folklore known for driving away evil spirits. The performance known as "Jumping Zhong Kui" is a ritual to pray for disaster relief and to ward off evil.
